Passports and Visas
Every person entering Japan must have a valid passport. In addition,
persons coming from certain countries must have a visa issued by a
Japanese consulate in their country. Please be aware that in some
cases, it takes more than one month to obtain a visa. For details,
please inquire at your nearest Japanese Embassy or Consulate.

The ICCT-2010 is sponsored by the International
Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC). The IUPAC sponsorship
implies that entry visas will be granted to all bona fide chemists
provided application is made not less than three months in advance.
If a visa is not granted one month before the conference, the IUPAC
Secretariat should be notified without delay by the applicant.
