Travel to Japan

Passports and Visas

Every person entering Japan must have a valid passport. In addition, persons coming from certain countries must have a visa issued by a Japanese consulate in their country. Please be aware that in some cases, it takes more than one month to obtain a visa. For details, please inquire at your nearest Japanese Embassy or Consulate.

Those who need the assistance in visa application must contact to icct2010-gbm@or.knt.co.jp

The ICCT-2010 is sponsored by the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC). The IUPAC sponsorship implies that entry visas will be granted to all bona fide chemists provided application is made not less than three months in advance. If a visa is not granted one month before the conference, the IUPAC Secretariat should be notified without delay by the applicant.
